Physiology Society Honors Moeser

Dr. Adam Moeser, assistant professor of swine health and production, will speak in San Diego as winner of a national award from the American Physiology Society (APS).

The award is based on a competitive ranking of research abstracts submitted to Experimental Biology 2012, a multidisciplinary meeting of the life sciences April 21-25 in San Diego, where Moeser will give a talk and make a poster presentation.

Moeser’s research focuses on understanding how intestinal diseases are impacted by psychological stress. The research he will present deals with the interaction between stress mediators and immune cell function in the gut.
