Hoit Honored as Best Public Sector CIO

NC State’s chief information officer, Marc Hoit, has been named a top IT executive in the Triangle.

Hoit was selected a winner of theTriangle Business Journal CIO of the Year Awardsin the public sector category. In partnership with the North Carolina Technology Association, theTriangle Business Journalhonored 23 tech-savvy executives at an awards ceremony in Raleigh on Oct. 18. The awards recognize individuals who have used information technology in innovative ways to create competitive advantage, optimize business processes and enable growth.
