Engineering Professor Honored by EPA

Joel Ducoste has been appointed by the Environmental Protection Agency to become administrator to the EPA’s Science Advisory Board (SAB). Ducoste, a professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, is an expert in modeling water and wastewater treatment.

Ducoste has also been reappointed to a second three-year term on the SAB’s Drinking Water Committee. The SAB provides independent advice and peer review to the EPA’s administrator on the scientific and technical aspects of environmental issues. Readmore.
