This week, the Pack grows stronger with the graduation of nearly 5,600 of its members.

NC State’s annual spring commencement ceremony will take place at PNC Arena on Saturday, May 7, when Chancellor Randy Woodson will confer 64 associate’s, 3,779 bachelor’s, 1,467 master’s, 190 doctoral and 98 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. Those5,598 new graduateswill swell the total number for the academic year to 9,074. During the ceremony, a total of 162 valedictorians will be recognized for earning perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during their academic careers at NC State.

But raw numbers can’t do justice to the drive, dedication andThink and Dospirit of those graduating this week. Below, you’ll meet some of the faces of this summer’s commencement, drawn from across our campus. They came here from diverse backgrounds, experienced everything NC State had to offer — and nowrise together as one Wolfpack.
